Service Director
Job Description
Dennis & Co. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Director to lead the Service and Parts Departments of our new Luxury dealership in Long Island City, NY. This role is critical to ensuring a world-class service experience that aligns with our brand values and delivers operational excellence and profitability.
The Service Director will have responsibility for the following:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the daily operations of the Service and Parts Departments to ensure efficiency, profitability and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and administer an annual operating budget. Prepare, manage and track the annual operational budget, ensuring goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
- Forecast departmental performance metrics and develop strategies to drive performance.
- Recruit, train, and mentor the performance of the Parts and Service Managers
- Develop positive customer communication strategies to promote luxury experience at every touchpoint.
- Monitor shop processes, workflow and repair quality, maintain high standards and minimize rework or comebacks.
- Recommend service and parts pricing strategies in alignment with market trends and profitability targets.
- Address customer concerns and complaints with professionalism and urgency, ensuring a resolution that reflects our brand’s commitment to excellence.
- Deliver clear, data-driven presentations to senior leadership and OEM representatives.
- Maintain compliance with OEM’s standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Ten plus years of related luxury experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Service Director or Senior Fixed Ops role within a luxury automotive environment.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and managerial skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or 10 years related experience and/or training or combination of education and experience.
