FirstFour Group, the Gulf Coast's premier source for specialized professional recruitment, is currently conducting a regional search for a Construction Manager on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing Design & Build Group specializing in large commercial projects.
The ideal candidate will have greater than 10 years of progressive experience leading teams of Project Managers, Superintendents, and other support personnel on large commercial projects. The Construction Manager will interface with subcontractors, suppliers, customers, and government inspectors on multiple large projects occurring simultaneously. The Construction Manager will ensure compliance with all national and local procedures, regulations, and codes, and will provide progress updates to company leadership channels on a regular basis. With every project, the Construction Manager will be counted on to drive the innovation, timeliness, and quality our client is known to provide.
Accountabilities
- Oversee and direct commercial construction projects from conception to completion
- Develop and maintain high-quality relationships with clients
- In-depth planning administration, programming, design, construction, and technical review of projects to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Coordinate and direct construction Project Managers
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Requirements
- BS degree in Building Science, Civil Engineering, or related field strongly preferred
- PE, CCM, or CPC credentials are preferred
- Minimum 10 years working experience in commercial construction
- Advanced knowledge of large commercial construction processes, means, and methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Strong leadership qualities and management skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
