We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Manager/Superintendent in Las Colinas to oversee the construction of our high-end, custom luxury homes. This role requires exceptional project management skills, a deep understanding of high-quality craftsmanship, and the ability to manage multiple trades while ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight and Management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of luxury custom home construction projects, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and cost control.
- Coordinate and oversee all subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of work.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Maintain strict adherence to design, quality, and budget expectations.
Quality Control and Craftsmanship
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds high-end construction standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain superior craftsmanship and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Address and resolve any construction issues or discrepancies promptly.
Scheduling and Budgeting
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Monitor and track project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Approve invoices, manage change orders, and communicate cost updates to clients and stakeholders.
Client and Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for homeowners, architects, designers, and project stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, timelines, and any necessary adjustments.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and foster strong client relationships.
Safety and Compliance
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure job sites comply with OSHA regulations and local building codes.
- Conduct safety meetings and inspections to minimize workplace hazards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in construction management, with a focus on high-end, custom residential projects.
- Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and blueprint reading.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Certifications: OSHA 30, PMP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
