Painting Superintendent (Union Shop)
Qualifications
· 10+ years of paint contracting experience
· Fluent in both Spanish and English preferred
· Prior experience as a superintendent or quality experience managing several different types of jobs as a foreman
· Ability to hire qualified painters
· Desire to continually improve the operations and drive the highest standards
· Must have prior experience operating scissor lifts, booms lifts, scaffolding, and swing stages
· Ability to train crews on application of Scuffmaster, intumescent coatings, dry erase coatings and other exotic coatings.
Responsibilities
· In this role, the Painting Superintendent will lead a team of painters to execute commercial painting projects
· Work environment is mostly in the field with some office/warehouse components
· Hire, train and develop a top tier team of painters
· Travel to job sites daily to engage with team and monitor job progress
· Manage the labor scheduling of the painting team in conjunction with the foreman
· Drive high productivity to maximize the gross profit of every job
· Ensure that projects are completed with high quality and meets clients expectations
· Promote and drive a culture of safety to keep the team safe
· Collaborate with clients management team
· Order sundries and shop supplies with paint vendors
· Coordinate delivery of equipment and materials to jobsite using company driver
· Troubleshoot and do basic maintenance on spray equipment. Coordinate with paint shop for necessary repairs
Compensation & Benefits
· Base salary will range from $80,000 - $100,000
· Eligible for company bonus and individual performance bonus

· 2 weeks paid vacation (accrued); additional week after 5 years
· 5 paid sick days

· Holiday pay (5-8 days per year)
